Medium-sized turf areas often need more reach than short-radius nozzles, without increasing water application rates.
The Hunter MP Rotator MP2000 applies water slowly and evenly using multiple rotating streams, improving uniformity while reducing runoff.
This model covers a 210–270° arc and is suited to medium spacing where partial-circle coverage is required.
What this is used for
The Hunter MP Rotator MP2000 is a multi-stream rotating spray nozzle used on standard spray bodies.
- Medium lawn and turf areas
- Partial-circle spray zones
- Systems designed with matched precipitation
- Replacing fixed spray nozzles without changing pipework
What to check before you buy
-
Arc range: Adjustable from 210° to 270°.
-
Radius range: 4.0 to 6.4 metres (manufacturer stated).
-
Thread type: Female thread to suit standard spray bodies.
-
Operating pressure: Best performance is achieved at 2.8 bar.
-
Zone consistency: Use only standard MP Rotators within the same precipitation family on a zone.
Important precipitation note
MP2000 nozzles apply approximately 10 mm/hr, matching standard MP Rotators such as MP1000, MP3000, and MP3500.
They should not be mixed with higher-precipitation MP Rotators such as MP800 or MP815 on the same zone.
Key features
- Low precipitation rate to support better soil absorption
- Matched precipitation across standard MP Rotator models
- 210–270° adjustable arc for partial coverage
- 4.0–6.4 m radius for medium spacing
- Female thread suits standard spray bodies
