Large turf areas require longer throw distances while still maintaining even water distribution.
The Hunter MP Rotator MP3500 applies water slowly and evenly using multiple rotating streams, helping reduce runoff while covering large areas.
This model covers a 90–210° arc and is designed for long-radius applications where partial coverage is required.
What this is used for
The Hunter MP Rotator MP3500 is a multi-stream rotating spray nozzle used on standard spray bodies.
- Large lawn and turf areas
- Spray zones with wide head spacing
- Partial-circle coverage in open turf areas
- Upgrading fixed spray nozzles to improve efficiency
What to check before you buy
-
Arc range: Adjustable from 90° to 210°.
-
Radius range: 9.4 to 10.7 metres (manufacturer stated).
-
Thread type: Female thread to suit standard spray bodies.
-
Operating pressure: Best performance is achieved at 2.8 bar.
-
Zone consistency: Use only standard MP Rotators within the same precipitation family on a zone.
Important precipitation note
MP3500 nozzles apply approximately 10 mm/hr, matching standard MP Rotators such as MP1000, MP2000, and MP3000.
They should not be mixed with higher-precipitation MP Rotators such as MP800 or MP815 on the same zone.
Key features
- Low precipitation rate to support better soil absorption
- Matched precipitation across standard MP Rotator models
- 90–210° adjustable arc for partial large-area coverage
- 9.4–10.7 m radius for wide head spacing
- Female thread suits standard spray bodies
