The MATelec Rain/Mains Controller - Heavy Duty Relay is a durable and efficient device designed to control the flow of rainwater and mains water for heavy-duty applications. With its robust hardware features, this controller ensures reliable performance even in harsh weather conditions. Featuring an IP54 weatherproof rating and made from polycarbonate, the enclosure of this controller offers excellent protection against the elements. The included mounting brackets make installation quick and easy. In terms of protection, the controller has low voltage control and input circuitry, eliminating the need for hard wiring. The control and interface of the controller are user-friendly. It is equipped with an electronic keypad for easy operation. Indicator lights for rainwater and mains water provide clear visual feedback. Additionally, a system test button allows users to check the functionality of the pump and valve. The controller has various inputs and outputs to accommodate different requirements. It features a quick plug 12Vdc input for a low-level float switch, ensuring accurate water level sensing. The GPO output supplies power to the pump, with a maximum rating of 240Vac 6Amp. The quick plug 12Vdc output is designed for connecting a solenoid valve. Included with the panel are a 25mm female/female 12Vdc pulse latching solenoid valve, a 9006 float switch with a 10m cable and quick plug connector, and a 10 Amp 3-pin 1.5m power supply lead. In terms of function, the controller operates in a simple and efficient manner. When rainwater becomes available, the controller closes the mains water valve and activates the pump. If rainwater is depleted or there is a power failure, the controller opens the valve for mains water use. For single pump applications in single-phase (230VAC) systems, the FPC-12721-HD model is ideal. This rain/mains controller ensures reliable water management and is suitable for heavy-duty use.
